{"id":35494,"date":"2024-03-25T17:00:39","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T16:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trendsanita.it\/?p=35494"},"modified":"2026-04-14T16:18:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-14T14:18:13","slug":"across-europe-at-the-starting-block","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trendsanita.it\/en\/across-europe-at-the-starting-block\/","title":{"rendered":"Across Europe at the starting blocks: the new bilingual column dedicated to European healthcare"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Healthcare in Italy is fragmented among regions and often even at the local level, but if we broaden our view slightly, we see a wider framework, that of Europe, which in recent years has been doing a lot regarding healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the European Health Data Space to the proposal for reforming pharmaceutical legislation, from the Cancer Plan to the European Health Programme, <strong>numerous initiatives have been launched by the European Union<\/strong> in recent years to protect citizens and provide a common framework for the 27 Member States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>From June 6th to 9th, European citizens will have to choose their representatives in the European Parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Across Europe<\/em> is our way to best prepare for the electoral appointment: a bilingual section (in Italian and English) featuring interviews and insights on European healthcare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A journey across Europe to explore the different healthcare systems, with their priorities and challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A perspective that goes beyond Italy and reflects the complexity of the 27-member Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim is to identify common themes and solutions implemented by different Countries facing the same issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From June 6th to 9th, the EU will elect its representatives. 720 Members of the European Parliament will be elected, who will remain in office for the next 5 years.
